Some Background about Lag Ba'Omer
It is a true outdoor festival. It's origins are clouded and mysterious. Lag Ba'Omer means the 33rd day of the Omer period between Passover and Shavuot. It celebrates Rabbi Akiva, a great Talmudic scholar, as well as Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, the great teacher of deep secrets and Kabbalah.

Today Lag Ba'Omer is a day of outings, picnics, singing and bonfires.
We hope you will join us.
